DECEMBER 2002

December 1, 2002

“He prayed and invited Christ to be his Savior.”

You’re a Christian aren’t you? Mark asked as he came into Don’s office (names changed for protection).  Don, a professor of chemical engineering at a southern university, was not surprised by the question.  He finds many opportunities to share his faith with his students.  But this time the student was responding to Don’s online Internet faculty office at Christian Leadership Ministries’ (CLM) website. (www.facultylinc.com)

“Mark was shocked to find out someone on the faculty in chemical engineering was a believer,” Don said.  “I shared the Four Spiritual Laws booklet with him… We spent quite a while talking about spiritual issues and his spiritual state.”

Don’s interaction with Mark bore fruit later when he prayed and invited Jesus Christ to be his personal Lord and Savior.

This is just one story of how Christian professors are making a difference for Christ in the lives of students.  This also illustrates the impact of the Internet on students’ lives.
Studies have shown that 91 percent of college aged students are surfing the web.

Don is only one of more than 900 members of CLM’s resource website for Christian professors, FacultyLinc.com.

Patti and I thank you for helping to bring the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to Mark as well as so many others.  Your support of this ministry is making an impact on students’ lives.

Our Special Need

Throughout our years on staff with CCC we have seen much of our annual budget given in December.  Patti and I count on this support to provide for our ministry and family throughout the coming year.  This has been a difficult year for us financially.  Our account is so low that we are on the verge of not covering our salary.

Would you please give a generous year-end gift above your normal gift so that we can see the Lord move once again?

We appreciate your involvement in the lives of people like Mark and we thank you for helping us to serve him.

Patti and I thank you for your faithful support that allows us to be involved in the front lines.  We simply would not be ministering to those who wish to take a stand for Christ without you.

In His Service,

P.S. Thank you for your special gift, which will help launch our ministry into the New Year!
