IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO ACCEPT CHRIST!

Dear Friends,

Sometimes you have to quit beating around the bush and get to the point.  That is exactly what happened with one of our staff members named Dan Clemons.  At the beginning of the school year Dan sent out some letters to new faculty to introduce himself.  He found one Korean female professor who wanted to know more about Christ. Dan set up an appointment with her and took along a Christian female professor.  They met every Monday for weeks.  She asked some very insightful questions and Dan diligently explained the gospel to her.  Then on the day after Easter they met with her after she attended an Easter service.  Once again she began asking questions. At this point the Christian professor who was accompanying Dan said that they had answered enough questions and now it was time for her to accept Christ.  Dan was taken aback by this bold approach, but the new professor thought about it for a moment and said, “Yes!”

  She invited Christ into her life and now all three are growing together in the Lord.

  Thank you for the part you played in seeing this influential person begin her new life in Jesus Christ.  We could not do it without you.

Patti recently had a chance to speak boldly and to the point about Christ as well.  She spent an evening answering phone calls for a ministry that assists the Billy Graham Association when people call in during television broadcasts.  One man needed to be guided back to the Lord because he had strayed far away.  Patti was able to share many Scriptures with him about sin.  When she told the story of the Prodigal Son, he was ready to pray and come back to the Lord!

Our Special Need

Speaking of getting to the point, Patti and I need to ask you to help us with our financial need.  Throughout our 23 years on staff with CCC we have seen much of our annual budget given in December.  Patti and I count on this support to provide for our ministry and family throughout the coming year.  This has been a difficult year for us financially.  As I write this letter our account is in deficit for the first time in as long as I can remember.

Would you please give a generous year-end gift above your normal gift so that we can see the Lord move once again?
